At Southwood Church, we make a priority of sharing and showing the love of Jesus to those who have not heard His word - whether it be in our own backyard or halfway around the globe. We do this by providing practical helps to those in our community via our local outreach events and by providing financial and prayer support to our A/G Global Partners.
local outreach
There are so many times in our lives that we glance across the street and get hit with the reality that life is hard. Our own neighbors, sometimes even our own church family, fall on hard times and need a helping hand. At Southwood, we fully embrace helping those in our own backyard. We do this in multiple ways throughout the year - via financial donations to local missionaries or through church outreach events like holiday food baskets, diaper drives, gift bags for our local first responders, etc.
