southwood covid-19 guidelines
What are you doing to protect my family during this time?
That is a good question and one that we are all concerned about. Southwood cares about your physical health just as much as your spiritual health. Because of this, we have implemented the following Social Distancing guidelines:

-
Everyone is asked to enter/exit the building from our back/West entrance. Those that are physically-challenged may enter the building at the front office/North entrance doors. The doors on the South side of our building are always locked for entry to maintain safety in our children's ministry area.
-
The CDC currently recommends face masks be worn indoors by everyone over the age of 2, regardless of vaccination status, due to current transmission levels of the Delta variant in the US. The CDC recommends that children under the age of 2 NOT be masked. Disposable face masks are available at all entrances for those that want one.
-
Hand sanitizing stations are positioned inside each entrance of the building, in the lobby and at the Welcome Center. Hand sanitizer is also available to all of our volunteers in the sound booth and children's ministry areas.
-
If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or any other contagious illness, please join us via online service. It is also recommended by the CDC that people with compromised immune systems take extra steps to stay healthy, which may include staying home and joining us via online streaming services.
-
Children's Ministry Check-In is located in the hallway between the West entrance and the lobby. Once you check your child(ren) in, the volunteer can point you in the right direction for age appropriate classrooms. Children and volunteers will be asked to have their temperature scanned with a no-touch infrared thermometer before attending class.
-
Children's Ministry Volunteers are required to wear masks unless they show proof of vaccination.
-
Seating in the sanctuary has been modified. Rows have been spaced five feet apart. We ask that you leave 3 seats between yourself and those from another household when sitting in the same row.
-
There is a cleaning crew that is sanitizing everything between services, including our children's ministry areas (including all toys).
-
If you have any questions about these guidelines, please do not hesitate to reach out to use via the "Contact Us" form below.
